"BAGGING A BIKE IN ONE OF WALKER'S 7PM RIDES IS LIKE GETTING A TABLE AT CHILTERN FIREHOUSE"
So when did an exercise class become more exclusive than the front row in Paris? Harriet Walker on the newest fitness phenomenon. The two dozen Spanish exchange kids standing outside Psycle in central London are oddly oblivious to the stream of incredibly good-looking, swishy-haired and Spandexed women stepping through its doors. But even they can’t resist staring through the window at the zingy, sweet-shop shades of Lycra hanging in its boutique.

"THE MESSAGE THAT MADE ME CRY MID-PSYCLE"
On Monday I had a session at Canary Wharf with Natalie: a long-legged, blonde, gazelle type with some serious energy.
Before the final track of the session, Natalie asked that we push ourselves and that we celebrate together. She asked us to celebrate our gift: the gift of movement.
We have the gift of being able to move our bodies. A gift that can be stripped away by sickness, injury or disease. A gift that millions of people around the world do not have. A gift that we are so fortunate to have.
These words from Natalie struck a cord with me.

Set up in the dark with night-club style lighting throughout, the class was teaming with sweaty regulars and plenty of staff on hand to help newbies like us. We were taught how to clip our shoes into the bike (known as cleats). Natalie introduced herself and began the class gently by ensuring everyone was clipped in and ready to roll. I actually began to enjoy spinning, which has been the class that I have loved to hate since I began gym-ing four years ago. We were guided through exercises that used the full body to its best.
HAVE YOU HEARD OF IT?

I had signed up for the 09:30 class with Natalie – absolutely gorgeous, she was exactly the kind of thinspiration you need in this situation! Her Psycle profile informed me that Natalie is a netballer, model and presenter – for her, Psycle “is the most immense drug and miles better than clubbing”. #girlcrush
The studio filled up (I was on a bike next to YouTube sensation Jack Harries!) and the volume of the music rose. The lights went down, and the colourful neon strip lights criss-crossing the ceiling lit up and phased through a rainbow of colours. It seemed I was about to go cycling in a disco…!
"HOW TO TOTALLY SWEATPROOF YOUR MAKEUP AND KEEP A CLEAR COMPLEXION DURING A WORKOUT"
BRIGHT BUDGE-PROOF LINER - For our recent party ride to celebrate the launch of the Canary Wharf studio I wanted my eye makeup to be super bright and vibrant to match my electric blue slashed leggings, I opted for the YSL waterproof liner and did dots beneath my eyes and they didn't run at all!
